From the 1st September 2016, the First Home Owner Discount on Stamp Duty has increased from $10,000 to nearly $24,000 for established homes valued up to $650,000. For established homes valued at more than $650,000 the $10,000 First Home Owner Discount continues to be available in the interim. $26,000 for new properties is still available to First Home Owners.
